I've built tools used by thousands of people: a course search app at Harvard, a recruitment tool recently used by 80% of Georgetown's first-year law students, and products for 100,000 policymakers across 170 countries.

Building these tools, I learned the fastest way to understand what AI can do is to watch it solve a problem you actually care about. That's the idea behind the Monthly AI Show and Tell. Each month, one person brings a real challenge from their life or work, and we build a solution live as the group asks questions and shares ideas.

How sessions work

Each session, one Spotlight member brings a real problem from their life or work. We build a solution live as the group watches, asks questions, and shares ideas.

We start from wherever you are. A frustration you deal with every week, a process you know is too slow, a half-formed idea. No prep required.

Every session has a topic posted beforehand, a summary afterward, and the recording available for members.

    What's new in AI: recent tools, features, and updates worth knowing about.

  2. Problem.

    The Spotlight member shares what they're working on and where they're stuck.

  3. Prototype.

    We build a solution live as the group asks questions, suggests alternatives, and pressure-tests it.

  4. Recap and library.

    Reusable prompts and workflows from the session, published for members.

When do I get charged?

You're not charged when you pledge. Billing only turns on after we hit the goal, and checkout will happen on this page.

How does Spotlight pricing work?

Spotlight is a one-time $100 payment that includes your first month of membership, one Spotlight session where we build a solution for your problem live, and one prep call beforehand to scope the problem. After that month, you continue as a Member at $25/month.

Why subscription instead of pay-per-session?

It's a subscription, but you can cancel anytime. The value builds over time as you watch different problems get solved month after month, and the membership gets you the recordings, the prompt library, and the community between sessions.

How long is each session?

About 90 minutes.

Do you offer a trial or one-time pass?

Yes. If you want to try a single session before subscribing, you can join for one month at a discounted rate. Details will be posted before launch.

Will topics and summaries be shared?

Yes. Each session comes with a topic posted beforehand and a summary afterward. Members also get the recording.

What if I pledge and change my mind?

You can withdraw before launch by replying to the pledge confirmation email. No charge happens before launch.

What tools do I need?

A laptop and your normal workflow. During sessions you can see and test Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and related tools through my setup.
